The defending CNPL champions, the Montreal Lions, are wasting no time reinforcing their title-winning roster, announcing the re-signing of standout player Louis-Charles Amyot for the upcoming C4 season of the Canadian National Pickleball League.

Amyot, a key piece of Montreal's championship run, returns to the Lions with his trademark composure, precision, and all-court versatility that made him one of the league's most reliable and respected competitors.

His ability to deliver under pressure, especially in clutch playoff moments, played a crucial role in securing the Lions' 2024 and 2025 CNPL Championship banners.

Leadership and Chemistry

"Louis-Charles is the kind of player every coach wants," said Ernesto Fajardo, captain of the team. "He brings leadership, consistency, and a deep understanding of the game. Having him back gives us confidence as we prepare to defend our title."

With Amyot's re-signing, the Lions continue to build on the championship foundation that made them the class of the league last season.

As the C4 season approaches, Montreal's blend of experience and chemistry will once again make them one of the toughest teams to beat.

The hunt for the threepeat is officially on, and Ernesto and Louis-Charles will be right at the heart of it.
